Pacquiao vs Marquez: No need for Olympic style testing for PEDS

People in the world of boxing are asking if there is a need for Olympic style testing for performance enhancing drugs (PEDS) in the Pacquiao vs Marquez fight on November 12, 2011, well the anser is no. It was revealed at a realiable source that there is no need for the the extra testing in this fight. Marquez didn’t ask for it as he quoted in an interview where he said, “I don’t know if he uses them or not. If he did use them, he should feel bad for each victory he had an unfair advantage in…I am not asking for any additional drug tests.”

I think that the Mexican fighter Juan Manuel Marquez don’t want to do anything to make the Pacquiao vs Marquez fall apart. It happened to Floyd Mayweather Jr. where he want to get extra testing and the fight didn’t push thru.

Juan Manuel Marquez wants this fight before his retirement because he is getting old. He want to clash with Manny Pacquiao to have a closure. But he hits 2 birds in one stone. He gets to fight with Manny Pacquiao and at the same time it is his biggest payday in his boxing career.
